Chorion has signed on new partners to build a comprehensive licensing and merchandising program to support the new daily animated television series THE MR. MEN SHOW, which debuts on Cartoon Network, Feb. 4th at 9:00 am. The new television series for kids 2-11 is based on the longtime favorite and best-selling MR. MEN and LITTLE MISS books, created in the 1970s by British author Roger Hargreaves. Since they were first introduced 35 years ago, the MR. MEN and LITTLE MISS series have sold in excess of 100 million books worldwide.

Hi-def gaming channel Gameplay HD has struck a deal with Electronic Arts to produce a six-part reality show focusing on the 2007 EA Sports Madden Challenge, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The show is set to debut the day before the Super Bowl, Feb. 2. The initial hourlong broadcast, which will air at 1:00 pm, will set up the 24 finalists who competed in playing MADDEN NFL 08 at Universal Studios on Dec. 12-23, 2007. Subsequent episodes will air on Saturdays at 1:00 pm. The winner of the tournament racks up cash and prizes valued at $100,000.

Cookie Jar Ent.'s hit show JOHNNY TEST will make its Cartoon Network debut on Jan. 7 at 4:00 pm. The show chronicles the adventures of Johnny Test, his genetically engineered super dog, Dukey, and his 13-year-old brainiac twin sisters, Susan and Mary, who use Johnny as a guinea pig for their scientific experiments. But no mission is too unbelievable, no challenge too great, and no villain too menacing for Johnny and his trusty canine sidekick.

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) announced that MLB 08 THE SHOW will be available in spring 2008, exclusively for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PSP.

Reflecting on the history of the franchise, the longest-running officially licensed baseball title on PlayStation platforms, the SCEA San Diego Studios development team went into this season looking to build upon the history and success of the franchise, by raising the level of authenticity and realism, and creating the perfect blend of features and unique gameplay opportunities.
