Breakthrough Animation has received an order from CanWest Media to produce thirteen half-hour episodes of the animated sitcom PRODUCING PARKER for TVtropolis. The edgy send-up of the daytime talk show genre follows the outrageous adventures of overworked and underpaid producer Parker and her quirky crew. Each episode reveals the behind-the-scenes antics of "The Dee Show," a daytime talk show that sells viewers the myth of "having it all." The series' colorful cast of characters includes Dee, the self-absorbed, high maintenance host; Vince, the cynical resident geeky copywriter; and Chicago Hyatt, the sexy, under-qualified intern.
Developed by Laura Kosterski (NAKED JOSH) and Breakthrough Animation's Kevin Gillis, Carolyn Newman and Christin Simms, PRODUCING PARKER is produced in association with CanWest Media.
