Mattel Films will develop the project that follows Roberto (aka Bob), who travels to Puerto Rico for a construction job and ‘takes on issues affecting the island and digs deeper into what it means to build.’

The live-action reimagining of the beloved Nickelodeon animated series, which follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements, stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, and Ian Ousely, and hits the streamer February 22.

The veteran actress, who lends her voice to an undisclosed role, joins Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black, as well as newcomers Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, and Maya Hawke; the Disney and Pixar film hits theaters Summer 2024.
