Eyetronics announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Xsens to represent their Moven MoCap (motion capture) system.

Under the the terms of the agreement, Eyetronics will provide MoCap services via Moven and will also make the system available for purchase.

Eyetronics is an international provider of high resolution scanning services and animation-ready 3D models for feature films, television, commercials and computer games.

A unique line of Digimon toys will be released this fall, adding to the empire of one of the longest-running action series in the world.

Toy Fair Showcases Speed Racer to Hulk

Toys based on characters from SPEED RACER, THE DARK KNIGHT and WALL-E will be revealed at this weekend's Toy Fair in New York, reports THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

The biggest licensed entertainment hits should be Warner Bros.' SPEED RACER and THE DARK KNIGHT, Lucasfilm's INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL and Marvel's HULK.

SPEED RACER toys have the most buzz, especially with news that an animated TV show will debut on Nicktoons in May, just prior to the film's release.

Kappa Karaoke on Nicktoons

Nicktoons Network will premiere a full-length movie for the first time on Saturday, according to C21 Media.

KAPPA MIKEYS KAPPA KARAOKE, a spin-off from the animated Nicktoons show KAPPA MIKEY, will feature 10 original songs with an onscreen bouncing ball to help the audience follow the lyrics.

The series follows the adventures of an American actor, Mikey Simon, who moves to Japan to star in the fictional series LILYMU.

Animation Collective, an American independent behind KAPPA MIKEY, owns KAPPA KARAOKE.

USA Will Air All Indys

USA Network purchased the rights to air not only the newest Indiana Jones flick (INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL), but will air the three prequels before the film's theatrical release in May.

VARIETY reports the deal could cost the network $40 million, depending on CRYSTAL SKULL's (Paramount and Lucasfilm) domestic theatrical revenues.

The three previous Indiana Jones movies, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981), THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984) and THE LAST CRUSADE (1989) will be shown as a marathon to promote CRYSTAL SKULL.

Planet 51 Voice Talents Announced

VARIETY reports that Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long and Seann William Scott will provide lead voices in New Line Cinema's PLANET 51.

The film, set for release July 24, 2009, is New Line's first 3D CG animated feature.

Johnson will give his voice to astronaut Chuck Baker, who thinks he's the first to discover Planet 51 only to find it inhabited by green people living an innocent, 1950s-style way of life.

Prince Caspian Game On Multiple Platforms

Disney announced today THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN video game will be released throughout the U.S. around the time of the film's May 15 opening.

The PRINCE CASPIAN game will be on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and 3, Wii, Nintendo DS and Windows-based PC.

Developed by Traveller's Tales, PRINCE CASPIAN will take players through Narnia, including a level not in the novel or film.

GameRecruiter, the leader in recruitment services for the interactive entertainment industry, announced Thursday the launch of GR Serious.

The fully operational business division will recruit quality professionals in the serious games industry, including military simulation, medical simulation and interactive training.

GR Serious headquarters are in Orange County, Fla., and will operate under the existing umbrella of GameRecruiter.

The Gnomon Workshop released two new titles this week on their Creative Production Pipeline covering character design and matte painting.

Artists Thierry Doizon (aka BARONTiERi) and Sebastien Larroude (aka Rainart) reveal their techniques using a myriad of tools including PhotoShop, Maya, ZBrush and Fusion.

The two new titles delve into the broad expanse of the creative process, from getting creative, researching, working as a team all the way through lighting effects and color correction.

Animation network Aniboom unveiled the winners of its Second Annual Aniboom Awards Thursday; grand prize winner JUNGLE JAIL was awarded a $25,000 development and distribution deal.

Choosing from about 1,600 entries from more than 60 countries, millions of online viewers and a panel of judges chose JUNGLE JAIL, a humorous short by French animator Aymeric Palermo.

JUNGLE JAIL also won in the Funny Category.
