While the famed creative services company has begun to shut down U.S. operations, the leadership and most of the artistic staff at The Mill have joined forces with Dream Machine FX for a new venture.

Return to the land of Ooo with the ongoing series of adventures created by the likes of Nick Winn (‘Bloody Mary’), Caroline Cash (‘PeePee PooPoo’), and Asia Simone (‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Wreck and Roll’), when the debut issue hits shelves April 9.

Starring Leslie Jones, Teo Vergara, and Remy Hii, the animated feature about a speedy sloth and her family’s efforts to run a food truck hits U.S. theaters February 28, and debuts in Canada March 7.

The ‘Speak No Evil’ helmer joins writer Mike Flanagan on the live-action project; the film features the shapeshifting Batman villain last seen in Max’s animated ‘Harley Quinn’ series.

The parent company sent U.S. employees a WARN notice on Friday, signaling a potential closing or mass layoff due to ‘severe financial challenges.’

The new video includes interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming live-action musical reimagining, as well as clips from the famed animated ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.’

Based on the kids’ comic book series by Jamie Smart, the 2D animated preschool series premieres February 22 on the Nick Jr. YouTube Channel and April 19 on Nickelodeon.

As the show reaches its climax, Goku and his allies take on Gomah with the Evil Third Eye in an epic showdown; final episode premieres February 28th.

Completing its lineup with 8 additional titles, the event will present 48 featured projects from March 17-19 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, alongside the 29th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market.
