1st Annual Renderosity Conference

Begins: August 29, 2002

Renderosity, the world's largest online community for 2D and 3D digital artists, is hosting their first Digital Art Conference to run concurrently with Dragon*Con 2002 (www.dragoncon.org). The conference will take place August 29th through September 2nd at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in the Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Stockholm rooms near the Dragon*Con Art Show. Membership to the Renderosity Conference is FREE with a Dragon*Con membership with the exception of Special Workshops available for an additional fee.

The 9th International Animation Festival in Japan Hiroshima 2002

Created in 1985, the Hiroshima Festival celebrates love & peace through the art of animation, basically held biennially, under the endorsement of ASIFA and according to its rules. Hiroshima is consisted of competition programs, special programs, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, etc.P>No category for competition, any animation shorts under 30 minutes and completed after the April of two years prior to the festival year are eligible. 10th Annual Midwest Animators Conference

Sponsored by ASIFA Central, the conference features speakers who focus on various aspects of animation production. The emphasis for many of the presenters is the personal and artistic influences in their work. Another feature of the conference is screenings of various animations as well as open screenings for attendees to show their work. ConFurence is The premiere Anthropomorphic Fandom Convention and Exhibition. ConFurence 2002 marks our 14th convnetion, with this year's theme being "Furry Noir", paying homage to the Film-noir genre with animal characatures. Our convention will be April 26 through Aptil 28, 2002 at the Hilton Burbank Airport and Convention Center in Burbank, California.
