The Cardiff Animation Weekender 2025 runs May 17-18 as a celebration of animated filmmaking and retro animation nostalgia. In addition, a hybrid festival will run across multiple venues in Cardiff and online May 17 – June 1.
The weekend event will present a program of cult favorites and new titles, celebrating animation memories and childhood nostalgia. Also featured will be creative workshops, feature films, an exhibition, short film programs, filmmaker Q&As, and social events.
