The 13th edition of Anim’est International Animation Festival will take place from September 28 to October 7 in Bucharest, Romania, and the deadline for submissions is June 20, 2018.
The Anim’est International Animation Festival, established in 2006, has become Bucharest’s most loved film festival as well as an internationally recognized event. The presentations, workshops, master-classes and round tables provide attendees an opportunity to get in touch with the latest creations and while making industry contacts.
The festival's program consists of six competitive sections. Submissions of short or feature animated films produced after January 1, 2018 are being accepted in the following six competition categories:
- Feature Film
- Short Film
- Student Film (undergraduate or graduate)
- Music Video
- Romanian Short Film
- Minimest (Children’s Film)
