With an industry always in flux, the VES Awards Committee has revised the 23rd Annual VES Awards Rules & Procedures to bring the definitions of several categories in line with current practices. The full set of the most recent Rules & Procedures can be found here.
The Student Awards eligibility dates have changed. To better align with student project schedules, the date range will now be from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. Any projects which did not submit in the 22nd annual awards which are completed in that period may enter for the 23rd Annual Student Awards.
The submissions deadline has been moved up by about a month, to October 31, 2024, and some award titles have changed. Submitters are cautioned to note the updates to the video format for entries as well as rules surrounding commercial and episodic submissions.
The submission cost remains at US $460.00 per entry.
