Watch the first look… set in the predator universe and directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who’s helming the upcoming live-action ‘Predator: Badlands,’ film tells 3 different stories where human warriors face off against the ultimate foe.
20th Century Studios has just dropped a first look from Predator: Killer of Killers, an original animated sci-fi action-adventure film set in the Predator universe. The film premieres June 6 exclusively on Hulu. Let the hunt begin!
According to the streamer, the anthology story follows three fierce warriors from human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge; a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession; and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent — the ultimate killer of killers.
Predator: Killer of Killers is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who helmed the previous Predator franchise outing, Prey, and is also at the helm of the upcoming live-action film, Predator: Badlands. Josh Wassung, from The Third Floor, serves as co-director.
The film is written by Micho Robert Rutare from a story by Trachtenberg and Rutare, based on characters created by James Thomas & John Thomas. John Davis, Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, and Ben Rosenblatt are the producers, with Lawrence Gordon, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Stefan Grube serving as executive producers.
