In the upcoming series, rookie reporter Meryl Stryfe and her jaded veteran partner discover that Vash the Stampede, a joyful gunslinging pacifist, has an evil twin brother named Millions Knives.
Originally called the "final phase" after Trigun Stampede was released on Crunchyroll in 2023, the sequel is based on Yasuhiro Nightow’s original “Trigun” manga.
Masako Sato (HAIKYU!! TO THE TOP) directs from a script by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Shangri-La Frontier), based on concepts by Takehiko Oki. Kouji Tajima (GANTZ:0) is the concept artist and character designer. Studio Orange will continue to handle the animation. The teaser visual was drawn by new character designer Kiyotaka Oshiyama.
