New Look Revealed for Snyder’s Joker

Jared Leto’s Joker will appear in Zack Snyder and HBO Max’s new ‘Justice League’ cut, that hits the streamer March 18, and his new ‘road weary’ look has officially been teased.

In quite a polarizing choice, Zack Snyder has injected Jared Leto’s Joker into his upcoming cut of Justice League. However, Snyder’s Joker will not look like the Clown Prince we remember from Suicide Squad. Last we heard from the “full-length Max Original feature film” director, the reimagined Joker would appear “road weary.” While this description is vague, and leaves a lot to the imagination, it at least provides an ever-so-slight visual hint.

The image is blurry, but we can already tell it is a marked improvement from the 2016 “mob boss” Joker, who literally had “broken” tattooed on his head. This new look is classic, subtle, and harkens back to past designs while also maintaining a sense of dark modernity. However, there’s one thing we need to know: are we seeing a bald head paired with the long dark hair, or is it simply an unfortunate trick of light? While this is a look donned by some party clowns, we don’t need to see it on Leto. Sorry! We'll find out soon enough - the Snyder Cut hits HBO Max on March 18.
