Lion Forge Secures Exclusive Sales Rights to Multiple Animated Properties

Among the new titles is ‘The Wingfeather Saga,’ an action-adventure fantasy series based on the book series by Andrew Peterson, and two holiday specials from Holiday Hill Farm.

Lion Forge Entertainment’s global media sales division, led by Kirsten Newlands and Jonathan Abraham, has announced it will exclusively handle international sales rights for a slate of children’s animated projects.

Among the new titles is The Wingfeather Saga, an action-adventure fantasy series from Angel Studios and Shining Isle Productions, based on the beloved book series by Andrew Peterson. The three-season series for children aged 6-11 follows the journey of the Igiby family as they uncover secrets of their history, flee the evil Fangs of Dang, and seek their place in the world. Using their special gifts, along with the love of their noble mother and ex-pirate grandfather, they survive venomous fangs, sea dragons, flabbits, and toothy cows along the way.

Lion Forge also secured rights to two holiday specials from Holiday Hill Farm, aimed at children aged 3-7. The first is Spookley the Square Pumpkin, a Halloween special in which Spookley is teased because of his unusual shape until a mighty storm threatens the patch. In the second special Spookley and the Christmas Kittens, Spookley and his friends come together to help a green cat named Mistletoe and three stray kittens find a home.

“We’re excited to continue growing our portfolio with incredible partners like Holiday Hill Farm, Angel Studios, and Shining Isle Productions,” said Lion Forge Entertainment Founder and CEO David Steward II. “By bringing titles like The Wingfeather Saga and Spookley the Square Pumpkin to international audiences, we’re not only expanding our global footprint but also offering families around the world stories that resonate with heart, adventure, and meaningful lessons.”

Lion Forge Entertainment is the proud creator of Hair Love, which won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short. The studio is also behind the series Iyanu, which launches in the U.S., U.K., and across Africa this Spring. U.S. viewers can watch it on Cartoon Network and Max, and the series will be available on Showmax in 44 African countries.
