Tezuka: The Marvel of Manga Exhibit

The Asian Art Museum is hosting an exhibit of the work of Tezuka Osamu. On display will be his work for ASTRO BOY and KIMBA THE WHITE LION. This exhibition -- the first of its kind outside of Japan -- features more than 200 works by Tezuka including original drawings, covers and posters that trace the artist's development, the television and anime series inspired by his work, as well as his adult-oriented manga. The exhibition was curated by Philip Brophy and is a National Gallery of Victoria touring exhibition in association with Tezuka Prods. Presentation at the Asian Art Museum is made possible by support from Wells Fargo, VIZ Media, United Airlines, Dr. Kathy Nicholson Hull and the Henri and Tomoye Takahashi Charitable Foundation.
