Slamdance Film Festival

Slamdance Film Festival has reached its 10th year, retaining its mission to support new filmmakers. The Feature competition is devoted to first-time directors who have made films that do not have domestic distribution or large budgets. Slamdance accepts anything that moves on film, video or digitally, work of all length, genre and format -- finished or not. Film submissions have an early-postmarked deadline of August 29, 2003 and a final postmarked deadline of October 10, 2003. Sponsors already confirmed for Slamdance No. 10 include the Director's Guild of America, Kodak, the Maryland Film Office, Crest National and Lespri Resorts of Park City.
