The Co-Production and Business Forum, Futures Lab, International Meeting of TV Channels, and Women in Ibero-American Animation roundtable all aim to promote the development, co-production, and distribution of animation across the Ibero-American region; run May 8-10 in Tenerife.

The 2025 Quirino Awards for Animation have announced the program for its eighth edition, which runs May 8 -10 in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, with sponsorship from the Tenerife Council through Tenerife Tourism.

The Co-Production and Business Forum, the Futures Lab, the International Meeting of TV Channels, and the roundtable Women in Ibero-American Animation were created to promote the development, co-production, and distribution of animation works across the Ibero-American region.

The Co-Production and Business Forum will bring together nearly 250 professionals from around 30 countries May 9-10 to host over 1,300 scheduled meetings. Registered companies include Dandelooo, Disney Branded, Miyu, Studio 100, Titmouse, and Warner Bros. Discovery Latam.

The first edition of the Futures Lab: A New Pact for the Future of Ibero-American Animation will take place on May 8. In collaboration with the Ortega Marañón Foundation, the initiative aims to generate proposals for the development of animation in Ibero-America. The laboratory is a space for professionals, institutions, and experts in animation and other sectors to explore future scenarios, identify challenges and opportunities, and design innovative cooperation schemes.

The International Meeting of TV Channels is a networking space designed to promote the exchange of experiences, generate new business opportunities and collaboration in the region. RTVE (Spain), France Télévisions (France), RTP (Portugal), SVT (Sweden), 3Cat (Spain), NTV, Señal 2 Televisión Nacional (Chile), Canal Capital (Colombia), TV Cultura (Brazil), and WBD Latin America will participate.

The roundtable Women in Ibero-American Animation will bring together women animators and professionals from the sector, including representatives from projects in the Animation! Ventana Sur mentoring program.

Additionally, on May 6, the Aguere Cultural Center will host the traditional Beerworking event, a networking session connecting students with professionals in illustration, comics, design, animation, and video games. Admission is free with limited capacity (first-come, first-served).
