New York Animation Festival

The New York Animation Festival showcases the best of independently produced short film and video animation throughout the world. From dark and brooding narratives to satirical and biting social commentary, the NYAF festival emphasizes new works by artists and independent filmmakers. The festival presents a range of animation from around the corner to around the globe - including a program of New York City's own, cutting edge works by up-and-coming young directors, cult favorites, Oscar nominees and many international award winners.

The event takes place at The Cinema Village, 22 East 12th Street (Between University and 5th Avenue), New York City.
