The Multimedia Art Asia Pacific (MAAP) Conference will be hosted by NTU in Singapore in collaboration with SIGGRAPH Singapore Chapter. This conference serves as a venue for presentation of innovative, creative, experimental work in all forms of digital media. MAAP (Multimedia Art Asia Pacific) is an organization and festival that explores New Media Art across a range of art forms and practices emphasizing interactive multimedia, Internet, digital media, animation and projects integrating new media. MAAP was established to bring focus to the "unmapped" cultural new media content emerging from Australia and the Asia Pacific regions and is now an Asia Pacific touring new media arts festival and web site resource, partnering with key organizations in our region.
In the past the participating work originated from countries all over the world. The event accepts submission of work from artists, musicians, designers, digital filmmakers, game designers, animators, Web-based artists, installation designers, performers, VR creators, innovators, researchers, educators, producers, art and museum curators and studios from around the world.
