Early 1930s "Rubber Hose" Animation

As part of its "Toons Gone Wild!" series, the Two Boots Pioneer Theatre will be screening vintage "golden age" cartoons that are rarely shown anywhere. Many have not been shown on TV since the 1950s and are unlikely to be ever be available on DVD. A special ToonTalk will follow immediately after each screening. At 8:00 pm, "Early 1930s 'Rubber Hose' Animation" will screen great cartoons from that brief period when toons were really wacky and featured characters with no perceivable skeletal structure who jived to the synchronized beat.
