Studio 100 Unveils Kids’ Animation and Live-Action Hybrid MIPCOM Slate

The company heads to the market with a series line-up that includes the 2D/CG ‘Dino Mates;’ the animated comedy ‘BFF;’ the CG/live-action hybrid ‘Momonsters;’ and Season 3 of ‘Vegesaurs.’

Studio 100 International, a leader in children's and family entertainment, is set to arrive at MIPCOM, booth R7.K17, with a full line-up of animated series.

The slate kicks off with the 2D/CG comedy adventure series Dino Mates (26 x 11’). Inspired by the theme park family attraction "Madame Freudenreich Curiosités" at Europa-Park, Germany's largest theme park, and the associated successful picture book series, Dino Mates is a mystical comedy-adventure series celebrating friendship, courage, and teamwork. MACK Magic (Germany) produce alongside KiKA (Germany), Edel Kids (Germany), and B-Water Animation Studios (Spain).

In the series, 10-year-old Sophie eagerly anticipates a summer of adventure with her daring Grandma Clara, while her brother Leo, 13, remains skeptical. Clara, a retired biologist, takes them on thrilling escapades to famous sites around her hometown with her sidecar motorcycle. Their summer takes a wild turn when they find dinosaur eggs in the legendary "Dragon Hole" cave. As Sophie and Leo bond with their new dino friends, they must protect them from those who would exploit them, turning each day into a game of hide-and-seek.

Studio 100 International’s other notable series making their debut include the animated comedy BFF (26 x 11’); the CG/live action hybrid Momonsters (78 x 7’); and Season 3 of Vegesaurs (60 x 5’).

Produced by Art Shot (Lithuania) and Artichoke (Slovakia), the 2D animated project BFF is set in a world of anthropomorphic animals and follows the adventures of Ben the clumsy bear, Frida the enthusiastic squirrel, and Freddie the cool cat.  The series depicts the challenges of everyday life and the importance of empathy and belonging.

The CGI with live-action preschool series Momonsters is produced by Big Bang Box, Spain and performs successfully on Spanish Clan RTVE.  In the series, Haha, Hehe, Hihi, Hoho and Huhu want to be children’s best friends, but... where can they learn how? At the Momonsters Academy! Where every day a different little boy or girl will show them their favorite thing in the whole world.

Season 3 of Vegesaurs introduces another variety of new characters and exciting adventures of young Tricarrotops Ginger and her Pea-Rex friends. Vegesaur Valley is home to so many juicy and crunchy creatures and the new episodes will feature such characters as the mischievous Dragonfruitflyus, the Tomatodons that are roaming the valley, the gentle and gigantic Asparagusaurs, or the majestic Pumpkinsaurs. The CG series is produced by Cheeky Little Media in association with the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC), France TV, and Studio 100.
