Award-winning production company specializing in virtual production and visual effects, announces a new management team that includes Al Lopez (President), Peter Ware (Head of Production), Jason Lucas (CFO) and Reid Paul (VP of International Operations).
Lopez joined Stargate in 2007 to oversee the company’ 3D department and has more than 20 years of experience in the visual effects industry. Ware led the studio’s production efforts from 1999 to 2008. He has more than 30 years of experience in nearly every aspect of the entertainment industry. Lucas joined Stargate in 2014 and has worked at both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Paul joined Stargate in 2007 and has more than 30 years of experience in the visual effect industry.
Stargate Studios, currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary, has won numerous Emmy and VES awards over the years. Stargate has offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Vancouver, Toronto, Cologne, Malta and Dubai. The company’s global network allows clients to access more than 250 visual effects artists and supervisors all over the world, as well as high-speed data transfer and simultaneous international rendering.
Current projects include work on The Walking Dead for AMC; Baz Luhrmann’s The Get Down and Narcos for Netflix; Liv & Maddie and Lab Rats for Disney and Ray Donovan for SHOWTIME. Future projects include the new 24 spin-off for FOX and Pure Genius for CBS.
