Octogenarian Alvin Sargent, who worked on the previous SPIDER-MAN films, is back to do a polish on the new teen-centric SPIDER-MAN reboot, reports HEAT VISION. The original draft was penned by Jamie Vanderbilt, (ZODIAC). Sargent will punch the emotional side of a high school-aged Peter Parker who struggles with going up and the death of his Uncle Ben. Production will start later this year with Marc Webb directing.
