Bringing 25+ years’ experience in animation and kids’ programming, the industry veteran assumes the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Episodic; the appointment comes as the studio increases its focus on TV and feature animation.
Today, leading VFX and animation studio DNEG announced the hiring of Angi Dyste in the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Episodic, for DNEG Animation. Based out of the company’s Los Angeles studio, Dyste will report directly to DNEG Animation President Tom Jacomb.
Dyste brings over 25 years of experience in animation and children’s programming, including 15 years in executive roles at Disney Television Animation. Her appointment supports the studio’s increased focus on creating animated episodic content and animated feature films.

During her tenure at Disney Television Animation, Dyste served in several executive roles, most recently as Vice President, Current Production, where she oversaw strategic planning and forecasting for the studio and productions, supervised the production of animated series, and focused on innovation and collaboration. Additionally, as Executive Director of Current & Development Production, she helped create and oversee the Artist Management department. Previous roles at Disney Television Animation and Disneytoon Studios included Producer and Associate Producer.

DNEG Animation is currently in production on Nimona for Annapurna Pictures and Netflix, Garfield with Alcon Entertainment for Sony Pictures, and That Christmas for Locksmith Animation.
