Jogger Studios Names Josh Kirschenbaum Creative Director

Industry veteran’s work in advertising and movies includes visual effects design, sequences, and creative solutions for screens of all sizes.

Jogger Studios has named artist Josh Kirschenbaum creative director. The industry veteran brings extensive experience, having worked with brands and studios including Apple, Facebook, Google, Ford, Honda, Disney, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and others. He has helped bring their visions to life by designing visual effects shots, sequences, and creative media solutions for screens of all sizes.

In his new position, Kirschenbaum will work closely with Jogger EP Alicia Cargile.

“Josh’s intentional and thoughtful approach to jobs of all sizes and scopes is truly exceptional,” said Cargile. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with him for over 10 years at various studios and I’m elated to now have him here as my partner at Jogger. Our mutual plans for creative expansion and growth, while still maintaining the personal connection with our clients, is truly going to be a next-level glow up.”

“Finding the art in what we do, in collaboration with others, is one of the most inspiring aspects of the process,” added Kirschenbaum. “So, I am very happy to be reunited with Alicia, someone I greatly admire and enjoy, at this vibrant and dynamic company.”

In his early career Kirschenbaum served as liaison to James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment, providing technical and workflow support for post-production on Terminator 2: The Special Edition as well as the hit movie True Lies. He then moved into film production, serving as graphics display supervisor on films such as Congo, Spawn, Twister, Jerry Maguire, Dante's Peak, and Titanic.

“Josh has a real calming strength,” said Jogger managing partner Amburr Farls. “His extensive experience, exceptional knowledge, and his drive to keep learning and exploring makes not only our team, but also our clients feel confident and at ease. It’s exciting to watch how Josh approaches each project uniquely and provides creative solutions—big or small, complex or simple. We are thrilled to have him here with us to help lead Jogger into its next chapter.”

Kirschenbaum has applied his production and post-production skills to provide VFX artistry and thought leadership to many advertising projects. He also helped expand the visual effects and finishing capabilities at various studios.

“Advertising is all about appealing to people’s ongoing delight in story,” concluded Kirschenbaum. “Working in this format means you have the opportunity to consistently explore new ideas and expand your perspective, all driven by the question ‘What story do we want to tell?’ It’s a never-ending challenge of the best kind.”
