How the Grinch Stole Christmas! On DVD

In light of the upcoming theatrical release of the live-action feature HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS!, Warner Bros. Home Video is re-releasing the classic HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! cartoon on VHS and DVD, plus a new THE BEST OF DR. SEUSS compilation video. Both the VHS and DVD editions of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! will feature the Dr. Seuss short, HORTON HEARS A WHO! The special features on the DVD will include: the documentary SONGS IN THE KEY OF GRINCH, featuring interviews with award-winning composer Albert Hague and vocalist Thurl Ravenscroft; TNT's HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS Special Edition; "Making Animation and Bringing It to Life;" pencil sketches of THE GRINCH and HORTON characters; English, French and Spanish language tracks and subtitles; and a jump to musical selections feature. THE BEST OF DR. SEUSS will feature such Seuss shorts as BUTTER BATTLE BOOK, DAISY-HEAD MAYZIE and HORTON HATCHES THE EGG. The GRINCH will hit stores on October 31, 2000 for US$14.95 on VHS and $19.98 on DVD. THE BEST OF DR. SEUSS video will retail for $14.95 as well.
