‘Among Us’ Animated Series Expands Voice Cast

‘Infinity Train’ creator Owen Dennis and CBS Eye Animation Productions’ upcoming adaptation of the beloved multiplayer mystery game from Innersloth has added Patton Oswalt, Debra Wilson, Phil LaMarr, and Wayne Knight.

The third round of voice cast members has been revealed for the upcoming Among Us animated series, reports Variety. Patton Oswalt will lend his voice to the project as White, a contest winner, alongside Debra Wilson as Yellow, Ship Cook #1; Phil LaMarr as Brown, Ship Cook #2; and Wayne Knight as Lime, an Engineer.

Previously announced voice talent includes Randall Park (Always Be My Maybe, Fresh Off the Boat) as Red, Captain of the Skeld, alongside Yvette Nicole Brown (Community, The Odd Couple) as HR member Orange; Elijah Wood (The Lords of the Rings trilogy, Wilfred) as Green the unpaid intern; Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Blindspot) as Chief of Security Purple; Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey, Legion) as the doctor Blue; Kimiko Glenn (Orange is the New Black, Hazbin Hotel) as Cyan the Gemologist; and Liv Hewson (Yellowjackets, Santa Clarita Diet) as Black the Geologist.

The series is adapted from the beloved multiplayer mystery game of the same name that tests (and breaks!) friendships. Per the official logline, “Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs.”

Originally released in 2018, Among Us surged in popularity in 2020, when friends could come together during the COVID-19 quarantine to confuse and betray each other in a lighthearted environment.

Titmouse (Big Mouth, Star Trek: Lower Decks) is producing the animation, while CBS Eye Animation Productions produces in association with Innersloth. Owen Dennis, creator of Infinity Train, serves as creator and executive producer, with Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser of Innersloth joining Dennis as executive producers alongside Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina of Titmouse. No network or streamer is currently attached.
