Supervised by Dennis Berardi, 150 visual effects artists at Toronto-based VFX house Mr. X helped create an idealized version of Baltimore during the cold war of 1960, and, most importantly, made a fantasy creature believable, delivering roughly 600 shots for director Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water.
