Stop-Motion-Workshop (in english language)
DATE: JULY 23rd - 25th 2004
Duration: 2,5 days (25 Hours) Location: Gelnhausen, Germany 40 km east of Frankfurt am Main
Topics to be covered in the theoretical part of the workshop will be:- Puppetbuilding possibilities- puppet construction materials- Animation principles (Timing, Anticipation, Dynamic etc)- How to record your animations (Software, Hardware)
Topics to be covered in the practical part of the workshop will be:- practise of animation principles in simple clayanimations- building a professional wire armature- building a humanoid puppet on top of the armature using foam pieces, liquid Latex or Clay / Plastilin- Animating the puppets
materials will be provided - no extra costsstudents can also animate professional ball and socket armaturesEvery student gets his animation outputted on CD-ROM or VHS
Maximum number of students: 8 Price per student: 150 Euro
