Central Saint Martins Innovation will host two one-day seminars on selling you not just as your project. In the morning, the seminar will look at some general points of presentation including how we all make judgments, basic psychology and transactional analysis, getting to know your clients, the pitfalls of overselling and underselling yourself, presenting your best assets and keeping people interested. The afternoon will take the form of presentation practice in small groups, reviewing what to put in and what to leave out and how to stay calm in a difficult situation. You will end the day by delivering a pitch in front of the whole group. This course is aimed at designers with up to five years of work experience post-college who need to start or increase their confidence and skill at presenting.
