The fourth Norwich International Animation Festival has been unveiled and consists of the most daring and important work in the industry to date. Filmmakers and animation experts from across the globe will attend to give talks and workshops.
Students from up and down the U.K., including animation, graphic design and students from the Norwich School of Art and Design (NSAD) and multi-media students from City College, are expected to attend to rub shoulders with the forerunners in the industry.
Previously the event was held every two years and was known as the FAN International Animation Festival but it has been renamed with Norwich in its title and turned into an annual program. It has a range of sponsors including the U.K. Film Council, the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the Film and Digital Media Exchange.
The core event is a competition, which more than 700 people from across the world, including students from NSAD, and other people in the region have entered.
