MONSTRA, held in Lisbon, Portugal, is a festival where experimentation and research take place while crossing over into new artistic approaches, culminating with the presentation and promotion of some of the world’s best animation.
Each year MONSTRA presents a wide selection of films in competition in the following categories:
- Feature Films
- Short Films
- Student Short Films
- Super-Short Films
- Short Films for Children and Youth
- TV Series
- Portuguese Short Films
The films must contain an animated sequence corresponding to a minimum of 60% of the total running time. All animation techniques are accepted. Entries are now being accepted through November 11, 2018. More information is available here.
