Cartoon Forum pays homage to the leading protagonists of European animation with the creation of the Cartoon Tributes, a ceremony aimed at honor the companies or personalities that have had a positive influence on the European animation industry over the last year
A total of 15 companies from six European countries (France, U.K., Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Denmark) have been nominated as finalists in the three categories: Broadcaster of the Year, Investor of the Year and Producer of the Year.
The more than 750 participants of Cartoon Forum 2006 will vote on the winners that will be announced at a ceremony at the Palais de Beaumont in Pau on 23 September.
This is the first time that Cartoon Forum is hosting this ceremony. The 17th Cartoon Forum is being hosted in the French town of Pau from Sept. 20
