Middle school students from the CAP/SPMAP Program present a collection of animated works and drawings created during the year-long workshops taught by CalArts School of Film/Video alumna Vanessa Cruz along with CalArts School of Film/Video student instructors at San Fernando Gardens Community Service Center, 10896 Lehigh Avenue in Pacoima, at 4:00 pm. The CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP), in its 14th year, offers in-depth arts training programs free-of-charge for middle school and high school students in jazz, printmaking, photography, video, drawing, graphic design, dance, digital arts, theatre, puppetry, chamber music, world music, animation and writing in 40 neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles County.
