Brighton International Animation Festival is an annual not-for-profit event run by animators for everyone. In addition to screenings, both specially curated and competitive programs, the festival offers hands on animation workshops, drawing classes, an AR exhibition, and panel discussions from industry speakers. BIAF invites animators and non-animators alike to come learn about the medium in an artistic and commercial context. The 2024 festival will include a 70th anniversary screening of the classic animated feature, Animal Farm, accompanied by a presentation on Halas and Batchelor, the studio behind the film.
