Author Michael Barrier, publisher of Funnyworld magazine, will discuss classic animation and screen rare examples of the greatest cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s in 16mm and 35mm in conjunction with the publication of the revised paperback edition of his award-winning book, Hollywood Cartoons: American Animation in the Golden Age (Oxford University Press) at the American Film Institute in the Ted Ashley Screening Room on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at 3 pm. The American Film Institute is located at 2021 N. Western Avenue in Los Angeles. Admission is $2 for ASIFA-Hollywood members and $10 for non-members.
