REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Visceral Games, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) today announced a collaboration with DC Comics/WildStorm to develop a comic book mini-series based on DANTE'S INFERNO, EA's video game adaptation of part one of THE DIVINE COMEDY.

Nicolas Cage is in early talks with Columbia Pictures to play the gangster villain in THE GREEN HORNET, reports VARIETY.

Cameron Diaz has been in discussions to play a reporter and love interest to Seth Rogan's masked crime fighter. Michel Gondry is directing the film, set for a fall start date. Last week, the studio announced they were looking to replace Stephen Chow as sidekick Kato.

The film is set for a summer 2010 release.

Rogen and writing partner Evan Goldberg wrote the script. Neal Moritz is producing via his Original Films banner.

Los Angeles, CA (July 21, 2009) -- TMNT Productions, in association with Mirage Studios, has signed veteran screenwriter John Fusco to create the script for the upcoming live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theatrical film targeted for release in 2011. Fusco joins the creative team with producers Scott Mednick ("300," "Superman Returns") and Galen Walker ("TMNT") to re-tell the origin story of the legendary foursome co-created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

Graphic designer Heinz Edelmann, known best for his work art directing the Beatles' YELLOW SUBMARINE in 1968, has died at the age of 75, reports the AP.

Edelmann died Tuesday afternoon in a Stuttgart, Germany hospital according to a spokesperson for the city's State Academy of Art and Design. No cause of death was announced.

Edelmann also designed book covers, including the first German edition of J.R.R. Tolkien's LORD OF THE RINGS and won a competition in 1989 to design the mascot of Seville's Expo '92 world fair.
