Interested in learning about writing for Animation?

Hi everyone-

I'm a working freelance screenwriter in LA and I just wanted to share about an opportunity to learn about how screenplays for animated projects are written. The course is listed here -- http://www.comicsexperience.com/course_intro_to_animation_writing.html -- We're starting this week and there are still a few spots left!

Animation Courses in Western Australia. Need Help.

Hello everybody!

I'm moving to Australia this February and I want to enter the university and do an Animation course and now I see that there are no well-known schools in Perth.

I've found some of them, maybe anybody could help me to choose the best one?

need answers

I am going to Art institutes in Sacramento this year and I was wondering if that would be a good choice of school to become an animator. I am skilled in many different aspects; I can draw, I can write, and I have over 300 voice impersonations which about 250 are mastered. I do stand up comedy just to learn what makes people laugh so I can apply it to my cartoons. I have a season of cartoons written out and ready to go. My dream is to put together a team of animators and one day get my season on Showtime or HBO. My only real scare/drawback is my lack of math skills.

Suitably qualified applicants are encouraged for MA Animation Production and MPhil/PhD research in Animation. Professional animators who wish to explore their practice in a postgraduate context are especially welcome.

Is AWN animation school database complete?

Hi, I checked the AWN animation schools website and I was wondering if the list of animation schools in different countries is complete and reliable or not?
can one rely solely on schools.awn.com to find the schools? is it the most comprehensive animation school and animation course database on the net?
is the database updated?

can you suggest other databases that include comprehensive information not only on animation schools in the US an Canada but also throughout the world?
