Studio Arts will start its latest round of classes for summer 2007 quarter commencing Monday, July 9. 2007.
Of special interest are several specially-designed 2D "tradigital" animation classes in Flash for TV, Bauhaus Mirage and Adobe AfterEffects. Beginning in fall, Studio Arts will round its 2D computer animation curriculum with its new series of Toon Boom 2D courses.
A highlight of the summer quarter will be several, special session intermediate to advanced ZBrush courses featuring instruction by famed CG modeler, art director and visual effects supervisor, Zack Petroc.
Among the one-week, five-week and 10-week classes being offered for the summer quarter are also several animation-oriented graphic design classes in Adobe Photoshop (Painting with Photoshop, Digital Mattes) and Illustrator (Illustrator with Photoshop) that take users into more advanced skills sets of the software that you would find on the job. In addition, Studio Arts continues to offer 3D animation classes in Maya and Rhino such as modeling, textures and art direction.
Eric Huelsman, director of Studio Arts, adds that many of these classes, which are normally up to $1,500 each are reimbursed from 67% to 100% for those who qualify for the CSATTF and ETP grants available through Studio Arts.
