The full-service VFX house’s recent projects include the delivery of multiple shots for VES award-winning episode of ‘The Crown;’ company also delivered 100 shots for the popular series, ‘Pennyworth.’
Soho-based Rumble VFX is now officially open after setting up their business at the end of 2019 – just a few months before the pandemic lockdown hit. Start-up plans were in flux, but industry veterans and company co-founders Tim Zaccheo, Richard Costin, Joe Cork, and Max Wright met the challenge; the team were soon up and running remotely.
"For our remote setup we work directly on the workstations at the studio via client machines at each artist's house,” commented Costin. “This has the benefit of simplicity, as all networking, software licensing and the like is in place. It also benefits turnaround times and security because we are all collaborating on the server internally as normal and not constantly transmitting files to other local machines."
The full service VFX house offers comprehensive visual effects production in both 2D and 3D - from the earliest conception and planning stages, through to shoot supervision and the crafting and completion of all types and complexity of shot. Most recently the team delivered 80 shots across the VES award winning episode of The Crown S4 (Netflix/Sony Pictures), as well as 100 shots for Pennyworth, S2 (Warner Horizon Television).
