MGM will own 50% of the film with its producing partners covering the production costs. Subsequent Bond films will be completely funded by MGM and coming out every other year.
In other ownership news, MGM's investment in THE HOBBIT will be $40 million to the $265-275 million production. The studio will split ownership with New Line 50-50.
