Variety confirms that New Regency has signed on to co-fund Darren Aronofsky’s NOAH, a dark take on the Biblical tale.
Aronofsky is pitching the project to various studios, including Paramount, Fox and Summit Ent. New Regency is based at Fox.
The BLACK SWAN director penned the original draft of the script, which John Logan is rewriting. He is asking for a budget of $130 million.
