Whoops! Even the greatest TV shows with the largest budgets are subject to rookie blunders. Last year, it was the Starbucks cup on Game of Thrones. This year, it’s “jeans guy” in Chapter 12: The Siege of The Mandalorian.
In a scene where Mando, Greef Karga, and Cara Dune face off against some Stormtroopers in a hallway, a crew member in plainclothes is clearly visible in the background:
While the scene is over in a flash, fans were quick to point out the error, and even claim the person is now “canon” in the Star Wars universe. Yes, apparently jeans now exist in a galaxy far, far away. Fan Bryan Ward took the popular meme a step further by creating a 1970s-style Star Wars toy out of the now infamous half figure:

We’d buy that! Watch for new gaffes on The Mandalorian Season 2, streaming now on Disney+.
