Max has dropped a trailer and key art giving fans a peek at the upcoming Season 2 release of its original animated prequel series, Gremlins: The Wild Batch. Part one of the two-part season debuts October 3.
Season 2 follows Gizmo, Sam, and Elle as they travel from their home in Shanghai to San Francisco, bringing even more magic, mystery and Mogwai mayhem. Hot on the trail of a new brood of evil Mogwai, our heroes journey deep into the American West, coming up against new supernatural creatures and picking up a few mysterious characters along the way.
Simu Liu joins the Season 2 voice cast alongside returning cast members Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, Izaac Wang, AJ LoCascio, Gabrielle Nevaeh, and George Takei.
Notable guest stars in the new season include John Glover, who starred as eccentric billionaire Daniel Clamp in Gremlins 2: The New Batch, plus Michael Paul Chan, Ronny Chieng, Keith David, Will Forte, Kelly Hu, and Jimmy O. Yang, among others.
Amblin Television produces in association with Warner Bros. Animation. Steven Spielberg executive produces alongside Amblin Television presidents Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey; Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios president Sam Register; showrunner Tze Chun; and Brendan Hay. Dan Krall serves as supervising producer, and Joe Dante serves as consulting producer.
