Bobby Glickert, who once served as Justin Lin's assistant, has inked a deal with Universal and producers Lin and Scott Stuber on an original sci-fi thriller, writes The Hollywood Reporter. Glickert devised the plot and direct and produce the project. The studio is looking for the screenwriter.
Jon Mone will shepherd for Stuber Pictures and Jeff Kirschenbaum and Jay Polidoro for Universal.
Glickert was Lin's assistant on FAST & FURIOUS. He went to direct the two short films THE DESCENDENT and ROAD TO MOLOCH. He also has a spec sci-fi deal with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes.
