The family focused animated film from Mofac Animation shares its 11 voice actors who portray more than 30 supporting roles, joining lead actors Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman, Mark Hamill and Oscar Isaac; hits theaters globally starting April 11.
The supporting voice cast has been revealed for the upcoming animated feature The King of Kings, from Mofac Animation Studios in South Korea. The family focused flick, distributed by Angel Studios, rolls out theatrical across the globe on April 11.
In the film, Charles Dickens (voiced by Kenneth Branagh) and his son Walter (Roman Griffin Davis) embark on a multi-dimensional adventure as the master storyteller engages his youngest son’s vivid imagination with the fascinating life of Jesus Christ (Oscar Isaac), his well-known trials and tribulations, and his notable colleagues and foes.
The supporting voice cast, portraying more than 30 roles, includes Jim Cummings, James Arnold Taylor, Dee Bradley Baker, Vanessa Marshall, Fred Tatasciore, Imari Williams, Mick Wingert, Millicent Miereanu, Frank Todaro, Ava Sanger, and Noah Alexander.
They join an equally stellar main cast that includes Academy Award winner Branagh (Belfast) as Charles Dickens, Golden Globe honoree Uma Thurman (Hysterical Blindness) at Catherine Dickens, Emmy Award winner Mark Hamill (Star Wars franchise) as King Herod, Golden Globe nominee Pierce Brosnan (James Bond franchise) as Pontius Pilate, Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit) as Walter Dickens, and features Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) as Peter, with Sir Ben Kingsley (Ghandi) at High Priest Caiphas, and Golden Globe winner Isaac (Show Me A Hero) as Jesus.
The upcoming March 29 King of Kings WonderCon panel, “A Faith-Full Dickens Tale: The King of Kings Animated Movie” will include director, producer, and writer Seong-ho “Jay” Jang, Woo-Hyung Kim, Jamie Thomason, Angel Studios chief distribution officer Jared Geesey, and a number of the film’s voice actors.
