MONTPELLIER, France -- High-end graphics software developer Isotropix is now shipping Clarisse 3.5, the latest update of its next-gen artist-centric creation tool. The company also announced the opening of its first U.S. office based in Los Angeles.

Isotropix at SIGGRAPH 2017
Isotropix will be exhibiting at SIGGRAPH 2017 and invites attendees to meet its team August 1-3 at booth #517. Isotropix Opens Los Angeles Office
Headquartered in Montpellier, France, Isotropix has opened new offices in Los Angeles, CA. The expansion in the Americas supports the company’s growth with plans to act as direct point of contact for current and new customers on the American Market.
Jay Roth will lead the American office as Business Director for America. A former model maker and VFX artist, Roth is the founder of software company Electric Image, which launched in 1987, and has also served stints at Sony Software America (a division of Sony Electronics) and at NewTek.
“I’m thrilled to join the team at Isotropix and help them to bring Clarisse to the North American market,” Roth commented. “I was fortunate to meet Sam Assadian and Sebastien Guichou near the time they founded Isotropix. Their enthusiasm for Clarisse was as infectious back then as it remains today. Clarisse is changing workflows and bringing a completely new way of working to the CG pipeline, and their unique vision will only push the company onward.”
Working in alongside Roth is Eric Smith, who has joined the company as a Technical Artist and Clarisse specialist. Smith strengthens the team with his more than 20 years of experience in CG working as lighter and layout artist for leading studios including Sony Imageworks, Animal Logic, Zoic Studios and Double Negative.
