Sony Pictures has decided to give artists a bit more time to convert THE GREEN HORNET into 3-D, pushing the release of the film to 2011, reports VARIETY. Originally set for a Dec. 22nd release, now the Michel Gondry picture will premiere over Martin Luther King weekend, starting Jan. 14th. The move also gives the film more digital screens to run on, having moved away from other December 3-D pics TRON: LEGACY and YOGI BEAR.
Seth Rogen stars as newspaper publisher Britt Reid who fights crime as the Green Hornet with help from his partner Kato (Jay Chou).
