Mandalay Pictures has acquired the film rights to YA novel FIRELIGHT, written by Sharie Kohler under the pseudonym Sophie Jordan, reports Variety. The story follows teenage twins who live in hiding with the other dragon descendents. But their mother takes them away when one of the girl's fire breathing skills is about to be used for evil. Peter Guber and Cathy Schulman are the producers with Adam Stone shepherding for Mandalay.
