Crunchyroll Reveals ‘Chainsaw Man’ Voice Cast and New Trailer

Based on the manga written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the highly anticipated series hits the anime platform in October.

Crunchyroll has revealed the voice cast and a new trailer for the highly anticipated anime series Chainsaw Man based on the original manga written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The film from MAPPA comes to Crunchyroll this October.

In Chainsaw Man, Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Denji’s father left his son indebted to the devil, obliged to spend his days working off his father’s debt by harvesting devil corpses with his captor.

One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as "Chainsaw Man," a man with a devil's heart.

Chainsaw Man is directed by Ryu Nakayama (JUJUTSU KAISEN), with Masato Nakazono (JUJUTSU KAISEN, SSSS.Gridman) serving as assistant director. The screenplay is by Hiroshi Seko (Mob Psycho 100, JUJUTSU KAISEN). The background art director is Yusuke Takeda (Vinland Saga, JUJUTSU KAISEN), with character design by Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation). Devil design is by Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers, Space Dandy). Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover, Yatterman Night) serves as the series action director with music by Kensuke Ushio (A Silent Voice, Devilman Crybaby).
