It is a sad day indeed. Dave Creek, a lead character designer for the animated series Bob’s Burgers, passed away Thursday after sustaining injuries in a sky diving accident the prior weekend. He was only 42. Creek’s colleagues have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the late talent.
Today we tragically lost our Lead Character designer and friend, Dave Creek. A wonderfully brilliant and talented man who I can guarantee designed your favourite character on Bob’s at some point. I’ll miss you, buddy x https://t.co/NOxEq1VOGw

While Creek is credited on 79 episodes of Bob’s since 2011, he also lent his talents to Central Park, Brickleberry, and Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown. If any solace can be taken from his passing, it’s that he died doing what he loved: he had a long history of enjoying skydiving and other adrenaline-inducing activities.
